This means that, products coming from Twellium Industry Company Limited, a wholly Ghanaian owned company incorporated in September 2013 and started production in 2014, have met every standard required of them.

The award ceremony which was held on Saturday at the company's premises at Medie in the Greater Accra Region, was also used to officially outdoor the Effluent Management System, a part of the company, responsible for the management of waste generated from the factory.

Presenting the certificate, GSA's Okai Mensah, said Twellium Industry Company Limited, is one of the few companies to have successfully met the requirements needed to be granted ISO certificate.

Mr Okai Mensah said, the issuance of the certificate is an attestation that Twellium Industry, has met all the standards expected of them by stakeholders, especially regulators Ghana Standard Authority and Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).

You need to do standardization, processes, you need to produce quality products, you need to have quality staff, you need to get raw materials. Everything about you should be quality.

You know internationally, they don't just give this for just anything so that means that, we have passed through all these processes, that is why today we have been awarded that certificate".

Touching on the outdooring of the Effluent Management System, she said "After production, there are waste products that come out that is why we saw it as a need to follow the safety measures. So today, we also outdoored our Effluent Management System to take care of the waste management after production. We are law abiding citizens and we believe in doing the right thing so that is why today apart from ISO and the HACCP certificate we have outdoored this one too.

Ahead of the Christmas festivities, Emelia, implored consumers to continue to patronize products from Twellium Industry, citing affordability and quality as what must drive them to stick to the brand. She said, as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a quota is deducted from every product patronized to support the needy be it education, health and many others.
