Less than three months to presidential and parliamentary elections and there seem to be a conspiracy of sorts against the good people of this country from the number citizen of the land.

President Akufo-Addo, who was sworn into office on January 7, 2017, has majored in minors for almost four years, it is now that defeat is staring him in the face that, he has started cutting sod to commence projects wherever he visits.

In 2016, around this same period President John Dramani Mahama, was commissioning projects, an indication of a president, who knew what he was about from the first day, he took the oath of office.

This conspiracy which in the opinion of this newspaper, is too late in the day, as Ghanaians have already made up their mind, it is causing a lot of unnecessary headache to road users.

Anybody familiar with how roads are constructed in Ghana, will attest to the fact that, there is always the tendency to spoil an already bad road and make it unmotorable, instead of ease the burden of road users, during construction.

We don't construct or make available access roads, before venturing to construct major ones, apart from the dust that is a major health concern, the sand that is hipped on the road and left for weeks and sometimes months, also makes traveling very difficult.

This newspaper, will recall the sad and sudden death of Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known in showbiz as Ebony Reigns, who was killed instantly in a traffic collision on 8 February 2018 whilst returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit to her mother

According to reports, the young budding talent's accident was caused because of a hip of sand, which has been left unattended to, due to an ongoing road construction.

President Akufo-Addo, should stop the vote buying tactics, which is putting the lives of Ghanaians at risk.
