A principal community nursing officer – Hajia Nazifa Shiraz, has joined the tilt of Ghanaian writers, as she is set to launch her first healthy-childhood-promotion book, titled 'Holiday Adventures', the book is said to have its controlling idea centered on healthy child growth devoid of domestic accidents.
The mother of three told this paper that she got motivated in penning down the over 80 page book, following the increasing spate of childhood domestic accidents. "I write to teach and inspire so as to reduce the incidence of domestic accidents in children".
Currently pursuing Health Promotion at the Kintampo School of Health and Well-being, the nurse cum publisher, disclosed that promoting child health is an integral responsibility of the entire society and that her book is better placed to assist parents in their quest to ensuring proper child upbringing.
Hajia Shiraz, called on publishers to concentrate on inspiring, guiding as well as educating readers.
She thus admonished writers to overcome difficulties associated with the task of writing to be able to keep readers informed.
"Publishing is challenging, but when you are determined, you will achieve. It took me two years to get this book published". The book is set to be launched on August 28, 2021 at The Nurses Hostel, Accra.
