How Can You Break The ‘8’ With This Level Of Incompetence?

Incompetence cannot begin to describe the type of leadership Ghanaians are experiencing, if there is any word stronger than incompetence then it suits president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Not only is the president and his vice incompetent, they are also dishonest, as after almost five years in office, they are still blaming former president John Dramani Mahama, for creating a mess.

When candidate Akufo-Addo, put himself up to contest for the highest office of the land, he knew that, he had a maximum term of eight years, starting with four.

He had in the past told the late president John Evans Atta Mills, who had inherited a real mess from John Agyekum Kufuor, that if the country is broken, he should fix it.

Ghana has never been in a bad place as it finds itself now. We have had bad leadership, but none can be compared to what we presently have.

If you want to be corrupt, at least be an honest one and accept the fact that you are, this idea where the president thinks all of us are fools, does not make him a smart man.

They is supposed to be honour among thieves, but what we are currently witnessing in this country, is rather a competition among them, as to who can steal more than the other, albeit not smart.

We have not seen any development paradigm since 2017, rather what we have seen is leaders who are in government only to enrich themselves.

It is approaching five years since Akufo-Addo, was sworn in as president to lead the country for his second term, and things seem to be worse than they were during the administration of John Dramani Mahama.

From the onset of his presidency, Akufo-Addo, has blamed John Mahama for the poor economic state of the country and he still does even after ending his first term of four years.

If it takes President Akufo-Addo, almost five years to blame his predecessor, even for the mess he himself has created, , how long will it take him to begin to address the numerous challenges facing the country?

he body language of the president not telling Ghanaians that 'A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame someone else?

President Akufo-Addo, in the lead up to the 2016 elections, as well as post election, made some profound statements, which gave Ghanaians hope that, something new is on the horizon. The president has only acted opposite to all that he promised to do. Akufo-addo, is an existential danger I say so without equivocation.

Mr. President, Is there any offense committed by Ghanaians that has warranted this unfortunate bitter experience? Should the president say Ghanaians did not show him love by voting him into power both in 2016 and 2020?

If the president would be kind enough to let Ghanaians know their wrongs, then, there is need to send some notable delegations of foremost traditional rulers, as well as the clergy, so as to pacify him with a view to coming out from this unfortunate mess.

This is a man who before becoming president, was touted as a man of the people, someone who believes in free speech, in fact we were told he has throughout his life, fought for pluralisation of the media.

We were he is not corrupt and has never been corrupt. We were reminded of his undying love for this country and his commitment to a better Ghana.

We were told he is a man of empathy, who believes in equal opportunity, as well as on Ghana, but what do we see, the level of nepotism in this government is more than we have witnessed in the history of this country.

President Akufo-Addo, has made Ghanaians to understand, deliberately or not, that knowledge, honesty, hard work and all those noble values cannot take one anywhere and they do not matter.

You will get far in this country now, only when you are a member of his family or a friend to the family.

The president is only good at making flowery statements, he doesn't believe in what he says, the I believe in Ghana slogan that he taunted us with, was used only as a means to an end.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), was portrayed to be a good political party, yet it has failed to change people's lives for the better.

What is the vision of the party on education, except the introduction of free Senior High School, which is bedeviled with so many problems?

What is the government doing about improving the nation's infrastructure?

In what way do we agree with NPP under president Akufo-Addo that it will bring change to the country's democracy? Because what we witnessed in 2020, is not a reflection of a true democracy.

Do not forget that Ghanaians are crying for what to eat every day. What is the NPP government doing to address unemployment in the country?

Is the Party fighting corruption truly, considering millions of Ghana cedis wasted in the 2020 elections to retain president Akufo-Addo and Members of Parliament?

The arrogance of power was manifested in the first term of president Akufo-Addo, that played a key role in the abysmal performance of the NPP, the arrogance has gone a notch higher and by 2024, Ghanaians would have had it.

Despite the agony citizens of the country are passing through, their situation is made worse when sympathizers or supporters of the NPP, take them to be fools and address them anyhow.

A great leader is someone who cares for and makes sacrifices for his people. Akufo-Addo, has not shown that he is the leader Ghanaians need.

Members of the party can tickle themselves into thinking they can break the '8', they will have a rude shock of their lives in 2024. Ghanaians are very patient people, but do not take their patience and understanding for granted.

Please join me in telling the New Patriotic Party that, they are not breaking the '8'.
