Mrs. Vivian L. Tougan-Klu, has marked her 50th birthday with a donation of food items and other supplies to the inmates of Nsawam Prison.
She made the donation on Sunday, February 28, at a short ceremony at the Nsawam Prison.
Mrs. Tougan Klu, donated items, including bags of rice, cooking oil, gari, sugar, rice, canned fish.
She also donated assorted detergents, such as key soap, guardian soap, liquid soap, geisha soap, and washing powder among others at a cost of Gh¢ 3000 to the inmates.
The Chaplain in charge of the prison, Very Rev. Fr. Martin Paddy, receiving the items on behalf of the inmates, expressed gratitude to Mrs. Vivian L. Tougan-Klu and her entourage for the laudable gesture and having the inmates in mind.
Very Rev. Fr. Martin Paddy, assured Mrs Tougan-Klu that the items were going to be put to judious use, while appealing to other well-meaning Ghanaians, organizations, and philanthropists to emulate the good example of Mrs. Tougan-Klu.
He prayed and thanked her and wished her well in her future endeavours.
