Thirty students of the Family Health Medical School in Accra, have successfully completed a six-year undergraduate medical programme to become doctors.
Out of the 30, some of the students undertook a four-and -half year entry medical programme in Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBChB).
With their graduation, the students become the first batch of medical students to have graduated from a private medical school in Ghana.
In a release which was copied to The Herald, management and staff of the Family Health Medical School, congratulated the pioneer students on their successful completion, whiles urging them to live up to the standards of the medical practice by at all times considering the health of the patient first.
