Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine, Ghana's premier leading and an award winning holistic medical school has signed a memorandum of Understanding with Lincoln University College, Malaysia, to run a 2-year Diploma and a four-year Bachelor of Science in Homeopathic Medicine.
The Collaboration is part of Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine Managements strategic plans to make quality education in the area of holistic medicine and also to create an academic platform for exchange programmes for students to compete globally in homeopathic medicine.
The Programmes
Professional Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Homeopathic Medicine are programmes that are going to be run by the Universities.
Homeopathic Medicine education
The Professional Diploma and Bachelor of homeopathy program provides an opportunity to learn about health and wellness, along with different theories and practices used in alternative health care.
The purpose of this program is to encourage students to make unceasing and diligent efforts to pursue holistic self-development to cultivate self-discipline and integrity, to nurture creativity into broad-minded future leaders with a mind to serve mankind. These competency elements are in line with the need of the students future workplace and critical for successful careers development in various Homeopathic institutes and hospitals. A homeopathic practitioner may look the career as a medical representative or as a doctor in private or government hospital. The professionals in this field can work in companies those deals with the homeopathic preparations.
There are many job opportunities both in Ghana, Malaysia and abroad. One can also start his/ her own practice. Homoeopathic doctors can work industries engaged in homoeopathic preparations. He/she can also work as Professor in homoeopathic colleges or do research. Homeopathy is also recognized in Ghana by the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Practice Council of the Ministry of Health based on Traditional Medicine Practice ACT 575.

Clinical Training in India
The homeopathy program is under the auspices of Dr. Sutanu Patra, a renowned homeopathic doctor in India and others have also signed another clinical training agreement with the JDS Homeopathy hospital in India for three months training in Indian.
