Residents of Fimreamour, a community in the La- Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA), has benefited from a culvert worth 7,000 Ghana Cedis from a private company, Decorbuild Limited.
The culvert, will help improve access to road network among commuters in the Municipality.
Speaking in an interview with The Herald Newspaper in Madina, the Director of Decorbuild, Siaw Nartey, stated that the project will go a long way and will help address the drainage system of the area.
Handing over the project to the Fimreamour community in Madina, Mr Nartey underscored the need for philanthropist and individuals to help contribute to the development of the country
According to him, his outfit, managers of the largest transport terminal in municipality and it behooves on them to contribute to the development of the area.
As result, "we owe it a duty contribute to the community's development".
"I didn't hesitate, to fix the bridge when the Assemblyman of the area called on me. We are going to rehabilitate the lorry park in earnest, starting with the construction of a mosque our Muslim brothers in the terminal ".
On his part, the Assembly Member for Tatanaa South Electoral Area, Yakubu Abdul-Jalil, expressed gratitude to the management of Decorbuild for supporting the community with culvert.
"On behalf of the Municipality and my office i acknowledge your gesture, urging other institutions to contribute their corporate social responsibility to the nations development".
He said, the Municipality needs everyone to brighten the community.
