Women, The Biggest Winner's of JDM's Running Mate Choice - Mavis Ama Frimpong

Gender activist, cum Public Health and Development Consultant, Mavis Ama Frimpong, has eulogized Former President John Dramani Mahama for his choice of running mate going into election 2020.

The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress for Abirem Constituency in the Eastern region, in an interview with a local based radio station as monitored by this news portal, believes the choosing of the former University of Cape Coast Vice Chancellor, Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, as the running mate to H.E John Dramani Mahama is a step in the right direction and a great relief and honor to all women around the globe.

Mavis Ama Frimpong accentuates that the appointment of the female academic scholar and former Education Minister is incontrovertible as she is the right choice for the running mate portfolio of the NDC who are poised in rescuing Ghana from the shackles of NPP's bad governance.

Having known the University don since her school days at the University of Cape Coast and working closely with her during the astute Professor's stint at the Ministry of Education, Hon Mavis opines that her co-NDC-Manifesto-Committee member is a great asset and will be an excellent compliment to John Dramani Mahama in the management of this country.

"The woman is full of wisdom and will assist JDM in helping to alleviate the many problems of women especially the vulnerable in society when given the opportunity," Hon Mavis added.

The Former Eastern Regional Minister, is glad that women have also been counted amongst leaders of political influence in this country as the nomination and elevation of the revered academician is a testament to the old age call that women can equally do more as men .

She therefore seized the occasion to congratulate Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman on her appointment and prayed for God's unending grace and blessings unto her life as she partner JDM towards NDC's victory in election 2020.

The Former Birim North District Chief Executive, therefore implored all and sundry, especially women of voting age to register for their voter's ID to be able to vote for the John and Jane ticket to ensure the prosperity of our once vibrant country.
