Ghana will today discover the final hurdle it has to overcome as it seeks to make a third consecutive appearance at the FIFA World Cup.The draw for the playoffs will be held in the historic Egyptian city of Luxor and the Black Stars of Ghana will wait with bated breath as one of Burkina Faso,Senegal,Egypt,Cameroon and Ethiopia is picked from Pot 2.
In an interview with Allsports, midfielder Andre Ayew says the team fears no opponent .”There are no teams we don’t know.Ethiopia was at the last AFCON and we saw them.We don’t need to know more. What we need is to be prepared.Whether you play Iv0ry Coast ,Senegal,Burkina Faso,Egypt etc ,none of the games will be easy”.
The Marseille midfielder also says the most important thing for the Black Stars is the level of preparation.
“Mentally we need to be ready and pray that a lot of players are not injured by the time the game comes around. If we are all fit as a group i do not see any country beating us but with home and away games you never know”.
